Project Overview Eagle Roofing was commissioned to solve a dangerous structural issue involving slipped coping stones on a residential property in Halifax. The project required a blend of structural masonry work and modern rainwater system installation.
Technical Execution
Safety Mobilization: A full independent scaffold was erected to allow for safe access to the roofline elevations.
Coping Remediation: The dislodged stones were safely recovered. To prevent a recurrence of the initial failure, we installed galvanized steel hip irons at the foot of the masonry run. This provides a mechanical failsafe that traditional mortar alone cannot offer.
Advanced Guttering Systems: The client requested a traditional look without the high maintenance of timber. We specified and installed Twinplas Guttering. Unlike standard domestic plastic, Twinplas is a dual-wall, high-capacity system that replicates the “timber box” look prevalent in West Yorkshire, ensuring the property maintains its character while benefiting from a 10-year quality guarantee.
The Result A structurally sound roofline, a modernized drainage system, and a property that is once again safe for the residents and the public.
